Toshiba Targets RM540 Million Sales In 2011
KUALA LUMPUR, July 20 (Bernama) -- Toshiba Sales and Services Sdn Bhd has set a sales target of RM540 million by end of 2011 after recording RM450 million last year.
The higher sales would be driven by new product launches, the company's sales and services director, Kamimura Shunji, said today.
"Toshiba's actual average sales of LCD TVs per month are 10,000 units and we expect it to increase to 20,000 units per month," he told reporters after the launch of three types of new HV Series LCD TVs here.
He said the new TVs would be ready for distribution soon.
The company would also bring into the market two new washing machines from August.
